Bye Bye ESP...

Wooow! How fast time flies!! Another year of college ended, so and the ESP courses came to an end. Both of semesters that passed were very educational, useful, interesting, funny and with unforgettable moments. I want to summary things that we did and learnt this semester by starting with the project that we had for making an advertisement about LC. The whole process and things that we did during the filming of the advertisement were sooo funny and interesting to me, and I believe to others too! We had such an amazing time doing it and be part of it, and 'the top of the cream' was the result that we achieved and the merits that we earned.
Then we learnt how to write a CV and a Cover Letter, what's the difference between them. Also, we learnt about time management and how to manage our time better. Then, we learnt about interviewing process, how to conduct an interview, the steps to a great interview, what we should wear, how we should stand, how to speak, what questions to ask, what answers to give, etc! After that, we also learnt about conflicts, types of them, how to solve them, we learnt about leadership etc...
And also, we had a debate with the topic "Living with your mother-in-law: Pro or Against", which of course was really interesting, we had different opinions and beliefs that we shared with each other, we discussed by giving examples and experiences from our relatives or people that we know, and overall we enjoyed talking about it.
So many things to remember, so useful for our future, so much memories to share and talk with, a great time spent at LC, but specifically in ESP classes. I want to thank our dear teacher, prof. Luiza Zeqiri, that taught us so many things that we didn't knew, she elaborated to us in a best way that only she can do, and for the understanding and commitment to hear and help us for anything that we needed!:)
I'm going to miss this class, our teacher, and all of you my dear friends, for spending and experiencing another amazing year at SEEU!
Hope you all give great results and pass all the exams..!
Happy holidays everyone and have the best summer in your life. Enjooyyy!! C YA :)))

This semester, part of our lessons was also the interviewing process. We learnt specifically about the behavior during an interview, how we speak, the gestures that we do, how we should stand in front of the interviewer, what should we say when he/she asks us certain questions, what we wear etc.?
Interview is an important process during the professional life or career of a person. It's really important to know all these things that can make the whole thing much easier and less stressful. Last Thursday we did the interviews and I want to say that we all did a good job, because it was the first time that we were stated in that kind of situation and I think that we handled it very well. I hope that all the things that we learnt are going to be very useful in the future and to be part of the successes that I believe we're going to approach in our professional life.

Hi everyone. Today I presented about abortion. I have to admit it that it wasn't quite easy for me to do this because it's a very sensitive subject and during the time that I was collecting information, I was so surprised and terrified at the same time because of the things that I was seeing for the first time in my life and it was so devastating. Anyway I think that the presentation went well in general, I had few emotions comparing with the first time that I presented, I tried to be clear, short, and meaningful as much as I could. I hope that you enjoyed too and you liked it :). I wish to all of you very good luck on your presentations, and I'm sure that all of you will succeed.
Best wishes,
Zana

So, this week some of our colleagues including me, had to do our presentations. I think that generally we did good and we elaborated our topics in a good way. My presentation went really good, I'm satisfied of it. I admit that I had emotions, a little bit stressful, because I wanted to show my best and I was worried if I'm going to make it or not. But, in the end it all went great, with the time that I was presenting I felt more relaxed and I enjoy it too. Hope u guys liked it as well and I want to wish to all of you out there that are going to present a very good luck, and just relax, don't panic or get stressful, forget everything else and enjoy it! :DD
Best Wishes!

This week we had the opportunity to learn more about nonverbal communication and the features that make up this kind of communication. This is very important about us and our lives, because it's part of our daily routine, the way that we talk, communicate, share ideas, experiences with other people etc. In itself nonverbal communication contains different behaviors like posture, clothing, eye contact or engagement, facial expressions, our vocal qualities and others. We could see all of this things in the video that we saw in class, and we were really surprised by the way that these important personalities of global area like politician, actor and actresses, presidents of The United States and other people from different areas, showed up in public, the way that they walked, talked to each other, moves that they made with their body, hands or eyes and through these elements we could understand what they wanted to express and show indeed, but couldn't say due to different reasons. I think that this communication is the most important in our life, because we express a lot of things that we can't say and we want to say. That's why we need to be very careful during the time that we speak and the same time we use gestures, because if we say something and we show something totally opposite of that then we can be misunderstood and the topic loses its meaning and importance. Personally I'm going to try to balance this elements of communication in the future, and assure to not make mistakes.

First of all I want to say that this is my first time creating a blog and I'm really excited about it, because it's a new experience for me and my colleges too. I hadn't any difficulty during the time that I created it, because there were instructions that leaded me so I founded very easy to use. I hope that this semester we'll learn a lot of new things, also have fun with our blogs, and spend great time with our professor Luiza.
